Big Ticket Inc, the world’s first neutral digital infrastructure for the global commercial insurance industry, launched at the AIRMIC conference in the UK in 2023
The company needed to maximise its impact at the event and tell its story to key stakeholders, including risk managers, insurers and brokers, as well as maximising coverage in the media. Events included a press conference, two live presentations and a series of media interviews.
Our starting point was to produce a communications toolkit, as well as developing materials for Big Ticket’s partner organisations including AIRMIC, Aon, Zurich and Aviva to issue ahead of the event.
We conducted media outreach ahead of the event to brief journalists, conduct select interviews under embargo and set up onsite meetings. We ran media, presentation and scenario training for Big Ticket’s CEO and President.
At the event we coordinated the press conference and release to media worldwide, then conducted on-site interviews for Big Ticket, some also involving the Chief Risk Officer of Specsavers, the first company to go live on Big Ticket.
The Outcome
These efforts resulted in significant coverage in the press in target publications in the UK, Europe and the US, as well as substantial activity on social media. They also resulted in fantastic engagement from event attendees and helped Big Ticket to set up numerous new business meetings and leads.
